He followed it by catching the ball in the corner and burying a buzzer-beating triple over an outstretched defender to close the third quarter. Then the exclamation point: a full head of steam from halfcourt, splitting two Rockets defenders before finishing with a crafty reverse layup. Avdija poured in 41 points, six rebounds and two assists as Portland edged Houston 103-102 for their fourth straight win.
