As meeting No. 1 between the Chicago Sky and Indiana Fever lived up to its billing through multiple lead changes, ties, and no double-digit leads, it was perhaps inevitable for the two upstarts to mirror one another in some way. In a game that would ultimately become most-known for featuring three lottery selections from the already-revered 2024 WNBA Draft, the fourth-year veteran left behind an indelible mark through her two-way presence. Among the afternoon’s most productive talents, Evans recorded 12 points — including a team-high eight at the half — four rebounds, four assists, and a steal during the one-point loss on June 1, 2024.
