With fresh legs and a motivated spirit in their first game out of the All-Star break, the Denver Nuggets certainly weren’t wasteful in allowing Christian Braun to put his open-floor gifts on display. Following in his teammates’ footsteps with one aggressive rim attack after another, Braun packages his teammate’s emphatic block on one end with an equally-electrifying play on the other, corralling an outlet pass before gliding through the paint with a hanging, two-handed and-one finish to the delight of the home crowd. Braun’s athleticism proved constant in a game in which Denver pummeled the Washington Wizards with 88 points in the paint — the most by any team throughout the 2023-24 NBA season — on their way to victory on February 22, 2024. Determined to fly whenever possible, the talented guard contributed 12 points, a career-high 10 rebounds, two steals, and one 3-pointer to the cause.
