Dalano Banton

If you didn’t know Dalano Banton’s name before, you sure do now. With his shorthanded Toronto Raptors missing three key players against the Detroit Pistons, Banton took the opportunity to introduce himself. The second-year guard was a star on both ends, first creating a steal when he picks rookie Jaden Ivey’s pocket and then capping off the possessions with an emphatic slam on the other end. Banton exploded for a career-high 27 points while also chipping in four rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks in Toronto’s gritty 115-111 triumph on November 14, 2022.
