The Miami Heat's newest international prospect Kasparas Jakučionis didn't need much time to announce his arrival in the NBA. Taking a feed from Simone Fontecchio with 2:10 remaining in the first quarter at Barclays Center, the Lithuanian shooting guard caught the ball 22 feet out on the left wing and buried his first career NBA basket with textbook form. Despite the Heat falling 106-95 to Brooklyn on December 18, 2025, Jakučionis showed glimpses of the shooting touch that made him a coveted prospect.
