Desmond Bane

Smooth, efficient, and as consistent as it gets, Desmond Bane has once again taken his game to a new level in 2023-24. Down three starters and trailing in the second half, the smooth-scoring two-guard gets right to work, burying the Detroit Pistons with nifty, high-arching finishes off the glass, subtle pull-ups, and buckets from every location on the floor. Bane’s second-half shooting was almost mythical, putting in 32 of his career-high 49 points over that frame, the second-most in Memphis Grizzlies franchise history. Unsatisfied with just a brilliant scoring output, Bane also found time to chip in six rebounds, eight assists, one steal, two blocks, and four 3-pointers in the come-from-behind victory on December 6, 2023.
