Jerami Grant got the best of Zion Williamson and the rest of the New Orleans Pelicans’ defense. The Portland Trail Blazers forward went between his legs and unleashed several crossover dribbles to bypass Williamson and Brandon Ingram into the paint before landing a turbulence-inducing throwdown before Herbert Jones and Trey Murphy III could meet him at the rim. The dazzling sequence was the capstone on a huge night for Grant, who scored a team-high 27 points along with eight rebounds, four assists, four steals and four 3-pointers in helping to deliver a 106-95 victory on November 10, 2022. Grant eclipsed 20-plus points per game for the second time in his nine-year career in 2023 and also set a career-high in minutes per game while shooting better than 40 percent from downtown for the first time.
