Jalen Brunson’s handle is so shifty that even extremely athletic players have trouble keeping up. Jeremy Sochan puts in an admirable effort in trying to stick with the New York Knicks point guard, but Brunson’s bag of tricks proves to be too deep as he eludes the San Antonio Spurs rookie in a man-to-man matchup long enough to bury a mid-range jumper. Brunson erupted for a career-high 38 points on 17 of 27 shooting and the Knicks needed every one of them — along with seven rebounds and six assists — in the 117-114 nail-biting victory on January 4, 2023.
